Statement of Research Interest
Epigenetics and Environmental Adaptation; Cancer and Epigenetics
In recent years, the rapid development of epigenetic and sequencing technologies has enabled researchers to understand, at a genome-wide level, the impact of chromosome spatial conformation, interactions between DNA segments, histone modification states, and other factors on chromosome function and gene expression regulation. Our research group employs modern epigenetic techniques, molecular biology techniques, cell biology techniques, and other methodological approaches to study the epigenetic regulatory mechanisms underlying cold adaptation in fish, as well as the transcriptional regulatory mechanisms of distal non-coding sequences of oncogenes.
The main research directions are as follows:
[1] The epigenetic regulatory mechanisms of cold adaptation in fish.
[2] The transcriptional regulatory mechanisms of distal non-coding DNA sequences of oncogenes.
[3] Cryopreservation techniques for fish germplasm (gametes, embryos).
