(a) Immunostaining of sensory hair in neuromasts of WT zebrafish and LOXHD1b KO larvae. The sensory hairs in neuromasts of WT and KO zebrafish were immunostained with anti-parvalbumin antibody. (b) Quantitative analysis of the hair cell length. The length of sensory hair in the SO2 neuromast was measured, and there was no significant difference in the length of sensory hair between the WT and KO zebrafish (P = 0.3765, t-test). (c) Electron microscopy. The stereocilia and kinocilia in neuromasts were clearly visible.
