Quantitative analysis of distance travelled without water load. (a) We created a square plastic frame and recorded the zebrafish swimming without water load on an iPhone. (b) Recognition of zebrafish using ImageJ. In ImageJ, zebrafish larva was recognized as red color (blue arrow). (c and d) Representative swimming trajectory of WT zebrafish (C) and KO zebrafish (D) for 1 min. (E) Swimming distances of WT and KO larvae (10 each) without water load were measured using ImageJ and compared using the Mann–Whitney test. No significant difference was observed in swimming distance between the two groups (P = 0.93974). Scale bar = 1 cm
