Left panel, PKD2 KD reduces PKD2 channel function, resulting in aberrant activation of the RAS/MAPK signaling pathway, excessive cell proliferation, and cyst progression. Right panel, RASSF4 overexpression promotes PKD2 intramolecular N/C binding, enhances PKD2 channel function, and suppresses RAS/MAPK signaling, thereby alleviating PKD2 KD-associated over-proliferation and cyst formation.
